Difference between chiropractor, osteopath and kinesiologist

It is important to distinguish between these three approaches, which are often confused.

The chiropractor primarily manipulates the joints of the spine and skeleton in order to restore mobility and reduce nerve interference.

The osteopath works on the entire body, including bones, muscles, but also viscera and the cranial system, to improve fluid circulation and overall balance.

The kinesiologist , for their part, uses muscle testing as a tool for communicating with the body in order to identify and release stress or blockages of an emotional, energetic, or structural nature. Kinesiology has nothing to do with physiotherapy, which is a medical discipline focused on physical rehabilitation.

Muscle testing has emerged from numerous osteopaths, chiropractors, and other health practitioners who have observed and confirmed that integrating muscle testing enriches their practice, increasing the precision of their interventions, the spacing of sessions, and their overall effectiveness.
